Stephanie Thomas, CFRE has over twenty-five years of professional fundraising experience.  The events organized by Stetwin Consulting generate an aggregate of over $20 million annually.  Prior to launching Stetwin, Stephanie served as President of Susan Ulin Associates Ltd., a 28-year old consulting firm that specialized in event management for nonprofit organizations, after joining the firm in 1995 as an intern.     

Stephanie has served as the lead Senior Account Executive on a number of events and has trained, supervised and overseen account representatives for hundreds of others.  Under her leadership, Stetwin Consulting undertakes responsibility for all event activities, including, but not limited to, fund raising strategy, integration of events with major gift efforts, board training, site and vendor selection, prospect research, budget and timeline management, development of print communications, list management, serving as liaison with event leadership, record keeping, follow up to solicitations, financial reporting and on-site management of the event.   Stetwin works effectively with boards of directors, event committees, business leaders, foreign dignitaries, society figures and celebrities as well as with event venues, caterers, designers, security details, auction, entertainment and other professional services.

Prior to joining Susan Ulin Associates, Stephanie served as Coordinator, Institutional Giving for the American Red Cross in Greater New York and as Prospect Researcher for the United Negro College Fund's Campaign 2000, a $250 million capital campaign.  She received her master’s degree in nonprofit management from New School University, her bachelor’s degree from New York University and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).  

Throughout her career, Stephanie has consistently volunteered to give back to the non-profit fundraising community.  She currently serves on the board of the Nonprofit New York (formerly NPCC).  Stephanie is a past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, New York City board and has served the local chapter and the international association on a variety of committees including strategic planning and nominations.  She has served on Nonprofit New York's Selection Committee for the Nonprofit Excellence Awards and is currently serving as Chair of the group.  Stephanie is a regular speaker at workshops throughout New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut.
